Very comfy shoes with easy take and and off. Super grip also on wet rocks. Normally use size 42 but went for 43 as suggest and they have a perfect fit (smaller wouldn’t fit).

The good: The shoe is very warm. I have several pairs of barefoot shoes and even the ones that are supposed to be for the winter feel cold below 5 degrees centigrade, especially when I have to stand without walking for a while. These shoes solve that problem and although they are not pure barefoot as the barefoot zealots would claim(because of the thick sole), I think that having thick soles is the only way to be warm in the winter. With my other barefoot shoes I can literally feel the warmth of my feet leaving through the soles :) With the ArcticEdge feel warm with them even when I need to stand without moving.

Another benefit of these shoes is that they are waterproof. Most of the barefoot shoes sold, even the winter ones are not really waterproof and that's a huge problem in wet climates in which you have rain/snow through most of the winter.

The bad: I have ordered one size bigger(43), as suggested. Normally I wear 42 and with the other barefoot shoes I have 42 feels relaxed. Despite being size bigger the shoe still feels quite tight. Wearing them with thick socks won't be possible I am afraid, unless they loosen up a lot. It feels particularly tight around the pinky toe. So maybe its better to order 2 sizes bigger if you are already used to the relaxed barefoot feel or want to put thick socks. If I remove the insole it gets much better but then I don't know if that is okay, since I can see seams inside, these might come undone if I walk over them directly.

I haven't had enough chance to wear them long enough to see how they will be in all conditions but I feel they might be a bit too warm for regular winter( around 0 degrees), especially if you need to spend more time in shops/malls and such.

Unfortunately not every model may be as suitable for your type of feet especially, if they feel tighter around the width area. I am happy with the shoes, they are doing a great job for me this winter. My only remark is that the shoe runs small. I ordered my usual Be Lenka shoes size 40, but these feel more like 39. I had to remove the insole to free up some space, so I hope the material beneath it is durable..

These boots are really comfortable; the lining feels excellent, and my feet are warm, even in the middle of winter. They've also kept my feet dry on walks in pouring rain on soggy ground. As suggested, I did go a size larger than my other pair of Be Lenka's to accommodate the lining and the fit seems perfect. As an added bonus, the all-black boot also doesn't feel out of place when worn for more than outdoor activities!

Ich habe mich nach langem Überlegen für diese Schuhe in ganz schwarz entschieden. Ich war etwas skeptisch, weil die Schuhe so klobig wirkten auf den Bildern und ich nicht sicher war, ob sie wirklich so warm und wasserdicht sind, wie beschrieben.
Anfangs störte mich die Optik, nach ein paar Tagen gewöhnte ich mich aber daran.
Ich habe die Schuhe jetzt eine Woche lang getestet und bin sehr glücklich, mich für diese Schuhe entschieden zu haben.
Ich habe normalerweise immer kalte Füsse in dieser Jahreszeit. In diesen Schuhen hatte ich kein einziges mal kalte Füsse, auch wenn ich mehrere Stunden in der Kälte war. Wenn ich in einem wärmeren Raum bin, wird mir damit aber auch nicht zu heiss. Vor dem ersten Tragen habe ich noch ein Imprägnierungsspray verwendet. Ich bin schon durch Schnee, Regen und Matsch gelaufen. Meine Füsse blieben immer trocken und den Schlamm konnte ich gut wieder abwaschen.
Ich empfehle unbedingt, sich an der Grössentabelle von Belenka zu orientieren und gegebenenfalls 1-2 Nummern grösser zu wählen. Ich habe normalerweise Grösse 37, habe hier aber 39 genommen, damit ich dickere Socken anziehen kann. Mit dicken Socken ist es mir sogar eher zu eng in den Schuhen. Manchmal trage ich au nur normale Socken, aber sogar dann bleiben meine Füsse angenehm warm.
Ich habe sehr breite Füsse, meine kleinen Zehen haben trotz der grösseren Nummernwahl leider nicht so viel Platz, für mich müssten die Schuhe noch etwas breiter sein. Für den Rest meiner Füsse fühlt es sich aber super an.
Die Höhe ist gerade richtig, so bleiben auch die Knöchel warm, aber ich kann mich immernoch gut bewegen und normal arbeiten gehen. Mit den Metallelementen am Rand, kann ich die Schuhe angemehem fest und hoch binden.
Die Schnürsenkel gehen leider häufig wieder von selber auf, deshalb muss ich einen guten Knoten machen. Bei Gelegenheit werde ich diese mal austauschen.
Die Sohle ist für einen Barfussschuh recht dick und hart, was mich am Anfang verwundert hat. Ich denke, dass muss so sein, weil die Schuhe sonst nicht so warm wären.

They are nice, seem very durable and warm for winter.
Personally I have two minus points:
- The boot is wide at the toes, but for me it's tight exactly where my feet are the widest. A bigger number would have been way too long. So if you have very wide feet, you might want to try it before buy it.
- when walking, it makes a dent above the toes, and because the fabric is very thick to keep you warm, it feels unconfortable.

These shoes are so comfortable and warm, really like them! I would have given them five star, but they are not fully waterproof as I understood they where supposed to be. So far it works, but don't know how it'll be with more heavy rain or wet snow.

Die Passform ist super, meine Füße sind 24,3 cm lang und 10,3cm breit am Ballen. Und sie sitzen wie angegossen. Es sind meine ersten be lenka und werden nicht meine letzten sein. Einziges manko! Die Sohle ist sehr steif, würde mir wünschen wenn diese weicher flexibler wäre. Das auch echtes Barfußfeeling aufkommt. Aber sonst top zufrieden.

Sind meine 2. Barfuss schuhe.
Beim reinschlüpfen sofort gutes Gefühl.
Zusätzlich imprägniert mit Spray da ich sicher gehen möchte dass ich keine nassen Füße bekomme.
2. Tag: habe roten Abrieb an der Haut (Fußrücken) da ich keine Socken an hatte.
Versuche es nun mit Socken. Sohle ist etwas dicker als die Sommer Barfuß Schuhe ( was ja Sinn macht). Bis jetzt keine kalte Füße und keine nassen Füsse.
Weiteres kann ich nicht sagen, da ich sie erst 3 Tage hab.

Vorab: ich trage seit 12 Jahren barfußschuhe und hab entsprechend viel durch. Ich habe jetzt einige Jahre einen Wanderschuh eines Konkurrenten getragen und wollte jetzt aber einen wirklich warmen Schuh der wasserdicht ist. Das ist er. Warm, als auch dicht (nasse Wiesen sind gar kein Problem) allerdings empfinde ich ihn als recht schwer und zumindest noch relativ steif. Ich hoffe, er wird zumindest noch weicher.

When choosing the size of shoes, it is necessary to consider other aspects in addition to the shoe size chart (foot physiology - shape, toe width, instep, and others) that can have an impact on how the shoe will fit your foot.

How to measure your foot correctly?

Place a blank A4-sized paper on a flat, smooth and even surface.
Step onto the paper with all your weight on the leg.
Use a pen/pencil to mark the heel and the farthest point from the heel (beware, it may not always be the big toe)
Measure the distance between these two points on feet with a ruler (the difference can be ± 0.5 cm)
The number obtained is the length of the foot
Add an extra 0.5 cm (ideal leeway) to the length of the foot, and you will get the ideal size of your shoe.
Find your shoe size per the above measurements by referring to the size chart for each product on our website.
